For international travel a passport and valid visas may be required. Sometimes a visa is required even when transiting through a country. Travel agents and airlines are not responsible for your passport and visas.
Some countries require you have a visa if you have a one-way itinerary. Please check ahead so that there are no unpleasant surprises at the airport.
Always make sure your passport is valid. Some countries require that passport be valid at least 6 months after your arrival.
